Light and comfortable, this bedroom has a large double bed (160m wide) with antique Kashmiri carved wood bedhead. Velvet and silk curtains, persian rugs throughout. A rich red sofa and a chinese chest of drawers. Ensuite shower room with hanging clothes cupboard.

The room is decorated a rich ochre colour and hung with fabulous artwork. The bedroom has a Juliette balcony that overlooks the David Austin rose pergolas. You can admire the terraced gardens that stretch down towards the Loire valley and onto the meadows beyond and particularly enjoy the dawn chorus and the symphony of the frogs. The room is north facing. Organic artisanal toiletries from local soap maker.
